Dry heat – fire, wet heat – steam or hot liquids, Radiation, friction, heated objects, chemicals and Electric Arc, all can cause burns.

Electrical burns are difficult to diagnose because its capable of causing significant injury under the skin without showing much signs of damage on the surface of skin.
